After watching Baahubali the country was gripped into frenzy as to why Kattappa
killed Baahubali, so after a wait of 2 years we have the answer to this question in the second installment of the movie “Baahubali 2 the conclusion.”
The opening credits of the film shows the main frames of the 1st part to convey the complete story which was very heartwarming to see.
The 2nd part begins from where it left off in the first part, why was Baahubali murdered by Kattappa, the story flashbacks to life of Baahubali after the epic war victory in first part and life in the kingdom of Mahishmati in general. Then it moves to the love life of Baahubali, which concludes with an epic war. This war has a lot of references to medieval wars which happened in Indian subcontinent. History buff should enjoy this action for sure.
After the war there is a lot of court drama and we reach the point of answering the epic question as why was Baahubali murdered. After the question is answered there is the final battle in choosing the rightful heir to the kingdom of Mahishmati.
The graphics of the film are on par with the first part, we don’t feel much change. The wars are beautifully choreographed. The acting of lead actors is fantastic (Prabhas is brilliant), except for the young Devsena (Anushka Shetty) who was not up to the mark. The sets are lavish, and so are the costumes. The direction and scripting is carried forward from the 1st part nicely. The music of the film is ok, the background score is brilliant.
Personally I feel the first part was better, it has to be, so that audience would watch the second part. I would rate the film as 4/5. It’s must watch for all those who have watched the first installment and also for its graphics and set design.
The film is the costliest film ever made in the history of Indian Cinema till date, both parts cost Rs 250-400 crores. Below is the trailor of the film.
